Caldwell County Arts and Missouri Arts Council are sponsoring a Mixed Media Art Show on June 25-26 at The Hangout in Hamilton, Missouri. Entries in a variety of categories will be judged by area art instructors and first, second, and third place ribbons and cash prizes will be presented. Categories to be judged are painting, drawing, photography, woodworking, jewelry/beadwork, quilts, sculpture, china painting, pottery, graphic arts, printmaking, as well as a Youth category. The public will vote for their favorite piece of art for the People’s Choice Award.
The Art Show can be viewed on June 25 from 10:00am to 6:00pm and from 9:00am to noon on June 26. In addition, there will be a poetry reading at 5:00 on Friday evening. Everyone is invited to bring artwork and/or come visit the Art Show and poetry reading. Admission is free to the public.
